Preparing Myself for Directing Next Film: Malvika Nigam

Direction is something like creating your own thoughts and showing it to audience and world through cinema. After directing several projects with known banner now I am preparing myself for my own feature film. Currently I have just finished working on An Indo-Polish feature Film with the legendary star cast of Bollywood and Poland film industry.
Since I am in Mumbai I have worked with Director Satish Kaushik, Vikash Verma (G7 Films Poland) Hardik Bhatt, Shashank Shah who has directed Chalo Dilli & Bajate Raho and many more. I respect a lot Director Satish Kaushik and glad to have a mentor like him, he always taught me brilliant technics of film-making.
I just finished script & screenplay of my film and soon it is going on floor, I would like to bring back the time when all the family members watch a film together just like Ham Apke Hai Kaun, it will be a family oriented film with some crisp as per modern cinema. Today we have intellectual audience who are interested in different-different kind of cinema and story line. If you have seen Bareilly Ki Burfi, it has a sober story line which a family can enjoy. Something like this with a catchy story line I am making this film.
When being asked a question “Now would you prefer to work in bollywood only or you will try some other industry too” she answered;
Bollywood is like a home for me, so I will always be here with hindi films, and apart from it I am looking some interesting regional films because with a prior experience of working in regional films I must say you learn a lot of things while doing other language cinema and updating yourself is more important if you really want to present some brilliant scene to your audience. Bahubali is the latest example; nobody can imagine that without having big names in the film, it can set a mountain of records.
